Hawaii is fourth state for Concero’s expansion of statewide health benefits for Costco membersPORTLAND, Oregon, -- July 1, 2005 – Concero Technology, a leading provider of proprietary employee benefits insurance portals, announced today that Costco Executive Business Members in Hawaii can purchase and administer employee benefits insurance online. Concero expanded the wholesaler giants’ healthcare packages to include this user-friendly, cost-effective portal.
Costco Wholesale members (NasdaqNM: COST) can now obtain quotes, enroll for health insurance, and address various administrative issues online. In addition, members can access monthly invoices online as well as pay premiums electronically.
Selected by Costco and Summerlin, a member of The i/m2 Companies family of integrated healthcare management and insurance companies, Concero’s insurance portal enhances member services and substantially improves administrative efficiencies.
Summerlin credited this collaboration with Concero’s winning combination of “Comprehensive benefits, affordability, extensive choice and ease of use” which makes this offering extremely valuable to Hawaii’s small business owners.

Hawaii is the fourth state in which Concero has enabled Costco to provide quality online small business benefits packages, and the second state to partner specifically with Summerlin. Costco’s Small Business Health Insurance plan in Nevada was the first to offer Summerlin insurance, under the name NevadaCare. Oregon and California have similar programs with other carriers. Hawaii will include Summerlin dental insurance as an optional rider in 2006. Costco and Concero also plan to implement dental and other products and services in other states in 2006.
